Dog Handling

In more fragile or high-risk scenarios, Alpha Team Patrol Dog Handling Units are a valuable tool. Our dogs are trained to warn the dog handler to the presence of possible intruders in addition to providing a good visual deterrent.

Trespassers can be detected by our dogs through smell, sight, or sound. When confronted with dangerous behaviour, they will defend their handler by standing their ground and displaying controlled aggression, and they are capable of detaining a suspect until the authorities come.

Our security dogs and fully qualified Dog Handlers are, as you might guess, highly trained and operate under stringent legal constraints. Our security canines and their handlers always operate to the highest standards thanks to frequent training.
